Meet Your Enrolled Agent
Get to know John Thompson, EA, and the story behind JCT Tax Solutions
From IT Professional to Tax Expert
Hi, I'm John C Thompson, and my path to becoming an Enrolled Agent started with a simple observation: every year, family and friends would come to me with their tax questions, knowing about my accounting background. What started as informal help during tax season gradually opened my eyes to how much people struggle with tax complexity.
While I built my career in Information Technology, my passion for helping people with their finances never faded. In 2024, I decided to make it official by studying for and passing the rigorous IRS Special Enrollment Exam to become an Enrolled Agent.
Now, I combine my technical problem-solving skills with deep tax expertise to help individuals and small businesses navigate their tax obligations with confidence. Every client gets my personal attention because I believe your unique situation deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach.
